Aaron's Ornament- A Vacation Project for Aaron :)

Hello Everyone!

My little guy is on Thanksgiving break from school since last week 

and i can not get anything finished!!

I love spending time with him, but he wants me to play games, 

watch movies and go hunt lizards all day...and oh god..i can not tell you how much i hate that last one!

because i am so "slow" as he reminds me,

 i need to lay on the ground and shake the bushes while HE chases the lizard. 

Anyway, thats a blog post for another day.

Sooo I'm behind on EVERYTHING..chores, projects everything!

 Last night i'm laying in bed thinking..what can i come up with for Aaron to do by himself for a little bit.

AHH HAAA!!

a craft project of course!

This is Aaron's Ornament.

I cut out pieces from a couple different Treasure Box Patterns 

and let him do his thing.

I cut out a ton of different color and size snowflakes and a small wreath..its not even 6 inches/

I also cut out a small snowman, i helped him glue on the really small pieces but he did the rest.

oh and i inked the snowman and started to ink some of the snowflakes but he said he didn't want that on them..lol so just a few are inked :)

I cut a small piece of ribbon for a hanger and Aaron stapled it to the cardstock

and started adding the snowflakes. 

it worked! he had a lot of fun making it and i got a couple hours to work 

on my DT project for Treasure Box Designs.

Christmas Holiday Banner

Hello Everyone!
I had so much fun making this paper piecing set using the Village Christmas Mice file that i thought i would use it again to make a Christmas Banner. I love the sweet look of these little mice..they are perfect for holiday craft projects, scrapbook pages and i am working on a set of Christmas Cards using them too!!

Halloween Pages and Titles!!

HI Everyone..
Halloween is almost here..i can't believe how fast this year has past!
Aaron is still deciding what to be, so i envision another late night up sewing the night before Halloween..lol

I've made a couple of Halloween themed pages and titles, i used several files from TREASURE BOX DESIGNS on each of the 3 projects. Email me and i can tell you what they are and where to find them!

Sleepless in Huntington Beach AND Superheroes & Beach Babes

Good Morning Crafty Bloggers!
I am awake again. Another sleepless night in Huntington Beach.
We are getting the Santa Ana winds and they are blowing the heck out of the house. So badly that things are falling off the walls, and things crashing to the floor is what woke us up tonight!
So i'm up..and while i'm waiting for the coffee to finish brewing, i thought i'd post a couple of my DT projects for Treasure Box Designs :)

I used the very cute Treasure Box Designs pattern HEROS
i just love these little guys, they are so sweet and this pattern can be used for
so many different projects!

Such a cute and fun pattern..perfect for  pages about any kind of water activities!

MY WISH FOR YOU Banner

Hello-

This project is a Wall Banner, I used the Treasure Tots BRIANA  from TREASURE BOX DESIGNS to make the little girls.  I think this Banner would look sweet hanging in a little girl's room, maybe over her dresser, as a reminder to always laugh and have fun. I love the Treasure Tots patterns!! They are all so CUTE!!

SMILE Wall Hanging

My first blog post is about this little wall hanging SMILE
I used the ZOO BABIES file from Treasure Box Designs.  I adore all Treasure Box patterns but this one especially, because we are welcoming a new grandson into our family in just a few weeks :)
The little animals are just the sweetest looking little guys! I tell you this pattern has got to be one of the cutest and easiest to put together that I have ever used.
The paper I used is the Little Safari paper pad from hobby lobby, ohh its super cute and the ZOO BABIES pattern was perfect with it to make this little wall hanging for Everett's nursery.
